Supporting the West Lothian Community . . .

HomeAid West Lothian recycle and re-use household furniture and electrical items for local people on a low income who are not able to furnish their home or replace items themselves.  We pass on your unwanted suites, couches and chairs to those setting up in a tenancy who struggle to fund the initial costs.

Fundraising thrift shop

01 August 2012

We’re proud to announce we’ve taken over the running of the local community thrift shop at 18 George Street, Bathgate.  The shop is used by around 25 small charities who each operate the shop for one week a year to raise funds for their cause.  It means there’s something different in there each week so, if you’re a local or visiting the area, come along and see who and what’s there.

At the end of each week, if requested, HomeAid will take any goods that are left in the thrift shop and make sure that they are reused or recycled as appropriate.

We extend our thanks to the public who have continued to support all of the groups by donating much-needed items.
